When Ultimate first released I was streaming viewer battles and this kid came in my stream and started playing Kirby, he fucked me up so badly to the point where I remember getting a little tilted that I was getting farmed by a kid who played a low tier. Ended up friending him on my switch cuz he was chill af about it though. That kids name was Jejajeja and little did I know he'd later win a massive tourney and put Kirby on the map

"Something clicked with jejajeja which allowed jejajeja to win the set" I think it was abusing Kirby's dtilt/crouch pancaking. Kazuya has a lot of moves that don't hit Kirby crouch, so crouching whenever grounded is generally really good against Kazuya. (EWGF, Grab, both crouch jab and uncrouch jab, Ftilt, down b/rage drive if Kirby is pressing dtilt, otherwise the slight bounce up and down in Kirby's crouch gets hit) also jejajeja played incredibly well, of course

JeJa did fantastically this event, and not by relying on lucky bracket pulls. The only MU of these shown that was not losing was Falco, which is considered even. Every other MU was tough and he did excellently to perform so well. Props to JeJa.
