Yep. Despite the Kirby games dipping a bit in quality after Return to Dream Land, they are still made with so much love from HAL. You can tell they are really passionate about this series.

@@jballs5434 Robobot came out after RtDL and it's arguably an even better game. I was mildly disappointed with Star Allies but I think there's another great Kirby game in the works and I trust HAL to deliver more great games.

This collection never game out in Europe which was a huge deal for me back in 2012. Nintendo kept advertising that it was coming December of that year for us and I was *set* on pre-ordering it. Then 2013 rolled along and.... yep, cancelled. I wanted that soundtrack CD and collection so bad. ;-;

I only just found out today that it wasn't even released over here, and it aggravates me to no end. I can't use freeloader to play import games anymore, since Nintendo rendered it useless with a firmware update. And I'm worried modding my Wii would have other unforseen consequences, like corrupting my save data. I really wanted to play those new challenges and the Magalor Races, since he's one of my favourite characters, but nope. Even though KIrby has always sold really well in the UK and Europe, apparently we don't matter to Nintendo.

@@NintendanGX You mean HAL Laboratory. This game was only released in Japan and America, and a lot of Kirby games are only released in Japan, and even some features such as the 3000 Gem Apples option in the Shoppe from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.

I found this on a clearance shelf at GameStop with the Wii games. Super Mario Land on the game boy (as early as the age 3) may have introduced me to gaming. But the original Kirby’s Dream Land sealed my fate as a long time Nintendo fanatic. This was a steal. The amount of content, amazing. I will own it as long as I live, and once in awhile, I like to go back to it. Fantastic!

We can't even import it either, without going through some major hurdles. Freeloader doesn't work on updated Wii consoles, so our only options are to buy a second-hand Wii without the firmware update just to play Import games, or to risk losing our save data by modding our current Wii's.

Got this game at GameStop last week! I always loved Kirby since I played the original Gameboy game Kirby's dreamland, so it was awesome that I would get to play it again on the Wii with a GameCube controller. Kirby games have always been easy to beat, and it was one of the first games I remember that had a continue option without putting a code in. That was a big deal, even in the early 90's. In my mind all this makes Kirby games so enjoyable, and they still are today.

I can admit that the re-release of Mario All-Stars celebrating Mario's 25th anniversary was a decent gift, but it was lackluster, mainly do to the bonus features. All it was, was a re-release of a SNES game, with a slightly disappointing anniversary soundtrack and a history book that only die-hard Mario fans would love. However, Kirby's Dream Collection is an amazing way to celebrate Kirby's 20th anniversary.

For a 5 year old video, this holds up well. A few points though. 1. There was a Smash ability in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. 2. Whatcha talking about, KRBAY is awesome! 3. A friend just gave me this game, but no collector's handbook.

As a game collection, this game is great. There are a few things they could have done to make it better, like giving the option to play the Gameboy games in color and let you customize the buttons on the controller (which would get rid of the inconsistency between the SNES controls and the other controls), but I love the games they chose, and they did a great job emulating them. But more than that, this game feels like a celebration of everything Kirby. And from that perspective, this is-

absolutely fantastic. Everything, including the history book, interactive history, the soundtrack, the inclusion of the anime episodes, the challenge stages (which not only gives the game even more replay value, it also gives playable representation to the newer games), and even the cover, it all adds to that feeling. That being said, that also leads to one other issue I have. I know it's dumb, considering I feel more strongly about it due to the extra effort put into the game to make it a-

I got this the year it came out for Christmas, my mom accidentally threw away the book, the disc is slowly breaking, the cd is still in tact, but now these go for a lot on eBay so at least I got one early

celebration of all things Kirby (as opposed to a simple compilation), but it would have felt more complete if they had a playable representation of the spin-off games. Maybe just one or two of them (like Dream Course and Tilt N Tumble) to round out the experience. Either way, that isn't a major complaint, just something that would make an already fantastic collection feel that much more complete. Anyway, very good review, and sorry about the triple post. :P
