THIS is how you do a remake. Rebuild the original game with beautiful graphics, add quality of life features from games that came after the original, expanding upon the main game with new powers, new side content with subgames from all over the series' history, adding to the story of the original with an epilogue, etc. Hats off to HAL once again for making another great remake and a game that truly deserves the "deluxe" title it's given. A wonderful way to end off Kirby's 30th anniversary and I can't wait to see what HAL has in store for the pink puff next.

"Magolor goes to Ultrahell" is truly the greatest selling point, you could apply that to any video game and it'd be effective, even non-Kirby ones Glad that RTDL DX is showing that it actually earned its "Deluxe" subtitle, this new mode looks neat! During the Direct, I noticed "Under My Control" was incorporated into the medley at 1:09, this is like one of the only times that song's ever been arranged in any way

This kinda implies that Magolor's strength in his star allies appearance isn't simply a residue from the master crown, but magic that he already had to begin with. I like that implication.

Magalor losing all his color and power reminds me of a Cirque du Soleil show called Quidam where a few characters in that show go from colorful to colorless symbolizing them losing everything but they later try to bring it back just like Magalor trying to regain his powers.

Once everything returns to peace in the true ending, you fight Marx in the credits, which kinda implies that he wants to cause trouble as soon as he can. This is just a theory, but I think that Marx only helped Kirby because there was a greater threat than himself. How can Marx take over the world if it gets destroyed?

Yay! I’m so happy that we finally get to see how Magolor got back home and reunited with Kirby! I’d be more than glad to help him restore his powers and return to Halcandra! I feel so bad for Magolor since he must have had a very tragic past, and I hate all of the inside jokes about him. He’s a good boy through and through, no matter what anybody else says! I’ve been coming up with an origin story for him over the years, and that includes the reason why he sought the Master Crown, other than for power. Once I complete the story, I can’t to share it with all of you! I really enjoyed the original Kirby’s Return to Dream Land for the Wii, and I can’t wait for Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe to be released! But first I need to get Kirby and the Forgotten Land! This is how you do a remake! As someone who became a fan with Triple Deluxe, I’m excited to try this one out, as I know it marks the beginning of director Shinya Kumazaki‘s approach to this magical series.

Magalor Epilogue looks great. I call it, "Kirby The JRPG". It's also the flipside of the main campaign. If "Return to Dreamland" is about happiness, "Magalor Epilogue" is about depression. Dreamland is bright and cheery (barring the creepy horror monsters), here the Epilogue is all dark and dreary.

Well, that just proves that The Arena and The True Arena along with Extra Game are non-canon in Return to Dream Land since Magolor Epilogue is only unlocked after clearing the main story instead of it being unlocked after clearing The True Arena at least.

As Magolor Is Defeated, The Master Crown Shattered And He Vanished without a trace But in the games ending he’s nowhere to be seen just landia and the Star cutter. When he vanished I guess this game is how it’s gonna go

SPOILER WARNING TO RETURN TO DREAMLAND (the Wii version) I guess this segment will explain how Magolor was revived after Kirby and his companions destroyed both his body and soul, especially since Sectonia and Haltman's deaths are still permanent. It does beg the question of whether Taranza and Susie could still save their loved ones, but perhaps that's a story for another time.
