Some notes : This is a possible way to play a Frost Nova Sorc in HC. The chance to be hit with 28 k defense is arround 10 %, combined with a maxed Energy shield it makes it very secure to survive vs physical mobs (especially with the changes on ES for the S10). I had no corruptions in my stuff, but i would aim mainly for maek corruptions, +1 sk, and CBF somewhere. I tested some other maps such as T3 ones (canyon, cow map) and the survivability is good, even with no blocks. The fire merc act 3 with exile + ferocity and the proc of decrepify and taunt help as well. Against aura mobs, you can play carefully and kill them with Frozen Orb : only one point into it is enough damage, because it has ice bolt as synergy same as frost nova. Frozen Orb is as well pretty efficient vs Map Bosses.

holy 90k with infinity on a map like that is pretty bad.

It Varies between 90 and 110k, but tbh 3-4 novas to clean packs sounds ok. Also, the fact sorc has unlimited teleport unlike all other class compensate her damage, it gives an alright clear speed at the end

@@Kirine-PD2 idk man last season i played was s5 or somehting and my combustion/hydra sorc was doing waay more damage. i feel like the nova aoe is way too tiny for mapping. is that spec still good btw ? prolly gonna leaguestart combustion/hydra or summon nec.

@@ChriStr0nG it's not anymore the build it was the previous seasons, but it's still fine ^^ There is as well a total of +6 skills to search with this gear set up (5 corruption +1 sk in stuff / and one anni 2 sk). It doesn't look so depressing for me

@@Redzuan-rg2ev The problem, is that nova is unplayable without full gear & proper maek / laek. It's not something you can play as you progress, it used to be a reward to play once you're basically full build. In all ARPG's, your builds final form is typically blasting through maps, now it's not doing that and nova isn't meant to be a slow build. Rather than nerfing it into the ground, other builds should have been sped up to make the gameplay slightly faster (imo) But this is coming from someone who enjoys POE, not D2R.
