It's interesting how both Kirito and Death Gun are extremely highly skilled from spending 2yrs of constant time in SAO. But Death Gun has an advantage here. He is using the same type of weapon he did in SAO. And Kirito's sword is completely different than his SAO swords. A powerful but light sword vs his old heavy swords.

Death Gun's side weapon is an estoc. It is similar to Asuna's rapier, but the blade profile leaves it with no edge. So unlike a rapier that can slash and thrust, and estoc can only thrust. He was also known for using an estoc in SAO, which is what helps Asuna identify him.

HEY!!!! welcome back!!! glad to see you are returning. My condolences about what you are going through. I was there too not long ago. Btw there are two things I want to mention. First, after the GGO arc is a nice lighthearted arc of 3 episodes. But after that the final arc is very emotional. Thought you should know. Also, re: "sterben", I am no expert in german medical terms. But I read someplace that "sterben" was more accurately as the point where a patient is gonna die and there's nothing that can prevent it. In hospitals it's important cause you can then start administering drugs with horrible side effects like morphine in high doses. If the patient is going to die, side effects are moot. So they do their best to make the patients last moments as comfortable as possible.

I'm pretty sure the reason kirito can use that sense thing to find players is because if you remember, back in SAO kirito upgraded his detective skills so that he could sense people and that data and ability transferred over to GGO. But that's just my personal theory anyway.

Its not actually his sense (or search, as its actually called) skill. It's an outside system skill dubbed "Distinguish" combined with an outside system skill dubbed "Hypersense" distinguish is used to focus on an abnormal or unnatural sound, and eliminate all noise besides that sound to detect the location and movement of another player. Hypersense is used to sense the killing intent of another player or person, which also can give away their location. Outside system skills are something never really mentioned in the anime, but in the novels they're basically skills that are not granted by the system and rather rely on a players unique individual abilities.

I know this is really late, but it's nice to see that the two bullets at 9:25 are different sizes due to the different calibers of the guns. The Hecate that Sinon uses is chambered in 50 BMG, a heavy round made for anti material rifles, weapons made to punch through with a heavy bang. Meanwhile the weapon that Death Gun is using, the L115A3 (nicknamed the Silent Assassin GGO and the AWM in other media) is a sniper rifle chambered in 338 lapua. Lapua isn't small either, but it's still not enough to classify as an anti material rifle. My way at looking at the two weapons is simple. Sniper rifles are for people, anti material rifles are for structures and vehicles. Of course, you can still use them on people, but don't expect them to be in one piece. I am not a firearms expert so I may be wrong. Correct me if I am incorrect.

So yeah, Hecate's bullet is much bigger. 10:57 An estoc is a sword designed for thrusting only. It has an edgeless, but sharply pointed blade for piercing through mail armor.
