Your comment makes no sense. Kirk wasn't even playing. If not-good quarterbacks like Trent Dilfer and Garoppolo (who got benched this season for a rookie) can win a Super Bowl, then Kirk can. And he is a FAR…FAR…better quarterback than both of them. But you also need a strong defense and strong offense and clutch kicker (all at the same time) which the Vikings haven’t had while he’s been here. Look how Super Bowl LV turned out for Mahomes. He also led the league in game winning drives and 4th quarter comebacks plus the greatest comeback in NFL history last season. In stating that Kirk “chokes” one tactically disregards reality, mathematics, and reason. Not being mobile worked for Brady. And what happens when the other team shuts down your run game / mobile quarterback?

Your opinion seems to be based on when he played for Washington (a dumpster fire team and a terrible defense) and when Zimmer was his coach who had one of the worst defenses in the league before he got fired. Coaching matters. Zimmer also had predictable and conservative play calling that lost plenty of games even when the defense knew it was coming and was terrible at clock management. His prevent style defense gave up more points in the final 2 minutes of each half than any team in history. It's team sport in case you haven't noticed. The way Kirk was playing this season, at an MVP level [Through Week 8 (the last week he played), he was tied for 1st in touchdowns (18), 1st in pass attempts (311), 1st in pass completions (216), 2nd in passing yards (2331), 3rd in QB rating (103.8), 5th in completion percentage (69.5), and 5th in TD percentage (5.8)], and the way the defense had been playing plus having a much better coach than Zimmer....sadly we'll never know how the season would have ended.
