Kirkland Plowing and Bank Removal

This is a great video. I found Skyline Dr and take it home from Utica at times. Cut over to Oriskany Falls and then to Rt. 20 and home. I like the area up there, but obviously it gets a lot of wind.

I can't figure out the purpose of pulling the snow in the roadway. Doesn't seem very economical to me.

Our equipment belongs in the road. When we get off road thats when we can get into trouble; Ditches, rocks, dig up property, cut tires etc..., and when we stack the banks higher the drifts form that much higher. Instead, we reach the back of the banks with the gradall and pull them into the road, then blow the snow into the lots and it reduces to nothing. We eliminate the snowbanks instead of making them taller, reduce the chances of damaging our equipment or peoples property and it's much, much faster than pushing the banks with loaders.
