Thank you for taking the time to make this really cool and interesting video. I wonder because of the crosses on the side of the tower could it have been built in memory of someone ? The countryside is so beautiful and I would love to see it in person. How thoughtless and uncaring to dump rubbish in such a lovely place. I don't like humans very much lol Please excuse me not being here for a while. The truth is I have too many subscriptions and I got a bit over whelmed. A lot of these towers which they’re are many in the Angus region of Scotland were built by the local farmers families for the local landlords for helping the families during past wars when the men and sons were called to fight. The landlords were not obligated to keep the mostly rented farms if the men were away fighting yet many helped the families during these times.
