I watched this film several times on Netflix… Then, in 2014 I had the opportunity I visited Japan .. in the season of 🌸 Cherry Blossom.. And the friends from Tokyo took me to that park where this scene was filmed! I was excited.. Saving Sake .. And I felt like a dream! Since then I love Sake .. and I would like to visit Japan ..! This movie was and is my favorite!

This is just a masterpiece, a work of art from Mrs Doris Dorie... I was happy to see the movie and i cried over it... The movie just gives answers to hard questions - what is life and what is death? The movie gives you so much feelings... When you cry, watching the movie... you forgive everybody... and you ask for forgiveness... for everything you have done... I also uploaded a fragment from the movie here kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5eqd3iMl5uZqdE

I couldn't agree more! I watched Cherry Blossoms the 1st time on ARTE back in 2009, as the channel was among the production supporters. After all those years, the Mount Fuji's scene towards the end makes me cry. It remains one of my all-time favourite films.
