Ingredients for a 19 cm baking pan:
3 eggs (room temperature)
75 grams of sugar / 2.64 oz.
8 g vanilla sugar / 0.28 oz.
150 grams of flour / 5.29 oz.
10 g baking powder / 0.35 oz.
100 g melted butter / 3.5 oz.
3 apples
3 tablespoons of sugar for sprinkling
some cinnamon
Baking time: 35 minutes at 180 ° C/ 356° F (in a preheated oven!)

I had an abundance of apples but only 2 eggs this morning, so i made 2/3rds of this recipe and it turned out lovely! My apples were on the tart side so i cut them into tinier pieces and precooked them a bit on a pot with the sugar and cinnamon plus a dash of lemon. Very moist and yummy cake👌👌👌thanks for the recipe!

Ingredient wise, it’s similar to the ‘One Bowl Apple Cake. . The recipe I know uses baking soda instead of baking powder and a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon. Apples are prepped first so batter doesn’t stand too long before going in the oven. Love the trick with the parchment paper! Think I’ll try this one too.

I commented an hour ago that I just put this in the oven.. It finished baking, cooled a little and I and my husband ate it and found it to be very tasty. Thank you for generously sharing your recipe. I like it because it has very little sugar. Apples give sweetness so you don't need a lot of sugar. Thank you!

Tolles Rezept! Ich ersetze die Butter durch 6 - 7 Löffel Öl. Die Apfelstücke gebe ich erst nach dem Teig in die Form, sodass sie noch etwas rausschauen. Zum Schluss streue ich noch Mandelplättchen und ein Päckchen Vanillezucker auf den Teig und dann ab in den Ofen.
