You could put your coats in vacuum seal bags and shrink them down. Then put them in the under the bed caddies. Just an idea

I love the vacuum seal bags brought them from Amazon they flatten down so well and I stick them under my bed as well.

Great job decorating your apartment. One thing I do for coats that has greatly helped me to condense when storing for winter is getting vacuum storage bags. They have been a life saver when putting away coats for the winter!

I have a suggestion for your Coats and bags. They make heavy duty magnets with hooks that you can apply to the back of that metal door. It will help soften the look of the door and utilize the space at the same time. Love your videos!

Great vlog. Wooden frame would look even better and I like the cream candles better. To make them fit, use a knife and scrape/shave down the bottoms of them.

Love your initiative and perseverance, Kirsten❣️ You take an idea and find a way to bring it to fruition. I'm impressed by your venture into more colorful hues. I believe the green wallpaper is a winner. It's a little darker, but it's a grounding, soft earth color that brings relaxing comfort. The print over the dining area works well, especially with the sandy mauve candlesticks and in keeping with the earthy hues you have all around. As with you, I think a wood frame is in order. Given your success thus far, I have no doubt that the end results of your efforts will be just lovely❣️

Great video! Two things... I would go with the tan (?) candles on either side of the dining room framed picture. The white candles just seem a bit too... stark? Or dare I say, wedding venue'ish? Also, and this is just me, but I detest beds that sit up way high. Like I need a step ladder, lol. We also have a space-challenged house, and I found cheap, plastic, under-bed bins at Walmart. Not ideal, but when they break, it's an inexpensive replacement, they slide easily, and they do fit. Barely, lol. Thanks again!

Beat trick: Put each coat in a garbage bag. Place the bag next to a wall & push your body against the bag. Hold the top of the bag to keep the air out as much as possible after you compress the bag. Then tie a knot. The bag will become flat & then put in storage container.

I was initially going to do a light over the picture but didnt want to hardwire anything and wanted to have minimal wall damage which is why the candle holders worked perfectly - two little screw holes that i can easily patch up when I'm ready to take them down!

One suggestion, more than your clothes being an eye sore, is your greyish front door 😂 I would have bought the same color wall peel and stick and cover it (in case you can't paint the door) and everything would look seamless and like a wall disguise for the door. I’m curious to know if you left the bed risers in place and if you liked sleeping higher : ) A few years ago, I bought a new mattress (Nest Bedding) plus frame, and now I sleep 2 ft high. I love it, even though at 5’9” I had to get used to getting into bed differently 😂

I think for a small apt that square footage u have to be as minimalist as possible. I would either remove the table in the entry or remove ur dining table. it makes it look too clutter. Maybe u can get those foldable tables to eat and close it up when ur done since it’s just u living there. I’ll be downsizing from 535 sq ft to 367 so I’m thinking of all the ideas possible to be as minimal.
