I love ALL your videos and especially the ones where you include Joerg...he's so funny in the way he regards the camera. His dry wit and your warmth make a lovely couple. And I'm glad to see this video because I caught sight of a pic of you wearing your poppy dress and the boater hat and I fell in love! The vintage look is so beautiful. I was born in the 40's when all the girls dressed so nice. I'm not sure what it's all coming to here in the US but I adore what you dress in and the things you covet.

I just find you so refreshing because you are so genuine and different than the standard Utubers. Im not even sure how I stumbled across your videos a few days ago but I find you so lovely. This world has become so toxic and unrelatable (esp here in USA), but you embody a time and place where civility and old fashioned values are alive and well. I think it is so lovely that you support all of these small businesses and share your buys with us, so that these businesses get promoted and so that we too can get inspired to find our own small businesses to buy things from. You are right, quality is important and it is worth it to spend more money but to buy an item that will last than to buy something inexpensive of no quality that will fall apart within short amount of time. Thank you.

The green paint on the cabinet is lovely,as is your wallpaper & fabric choice, William Morris patterns are great, Classics in anything never go out of style,I agree..these “designer items” are everywhere & not special anymore,that bag is really unique...thanks for sharing your home decorating,I appreciate all your choices

Und über Handtaschen denke ich ähnlich .Hab kürzlich eine schöne Tasche in einem Vintage shop in London gefunden....manche Tasche eines unbekannteren Labels ist viel spannender und ausgefallener als so manche It-Bag! Hey Britta! Oh das freut mich, vielen lieben Dank. Ich liebe den Hut auch so. Da hast Du total recht. Die riesigen Designer Labels gehen ja mittlerweile nur auf Masse und weniger Qualität. Die findest Du aber bei einem kleinen Label, ich liebe so was. Da gibt es wirklich noch echtes Handwerk und das macht das Ganze so besonders.

I love anything vintage! Items that are vintage have a history and a story to tell, if they could. Something that every one else is seeking because of a famous name brand, holds no interest for me. I especially enjoy vintage items in my French-inspired kitchen. So enjoyed the video Kirsten. The Poppy Red dress is very special.

I couldn't agree more with you. I think most of the really big brands (and the very expensive items too) are simply just status symbols and it's good if it's not important to oneself.

I have always adored handbags that are unique and not really brand. You red dress is just so lovely and the hat is perfect. I am not one for makeup but that company is a piece of art. I love copper more than enamel but that is a cut pot.

I know, right? Love a unique and vintage handbag so much more, even sold a couple of designer bags as I wasn't fond of them anymore. So happy you love the dress and hat as much as I do. Vintage make up packaging is so precious, there's so much detail, like a work of art. Oh I do love copper too.

Your red dress is absolutely gorgeous and it is wonderful that boater hats are still being made. I agree with you that ''disposable fashion'' is bad for the environment. Also, the people working in manufacturing very cheap clothes are underpaid, are often working in poor conditions and some companies even use child labour. Your handbag is unique. Your style is wonderful, individual and ethically sourced.

I feel the same way about designer bags. I don’t get the obsession w them at all. Some are nice, but not THAT nice in my opinion. I enjoy Italian made leather bags, that are much more unique☺️👍🏻

Oh yes, more unique and probably much better quality too. I think designer bags are simply are kind of a status symbol if that makes sense.
