Raj Kapoor?? ..she hugged and kissed me and started humming this very song waving her hands in the air..All I could understand was Raj Kapoor,Raj Kapoor..Radio..” 😃My fellow traveller translated that Raj Kapoor used to be her biggest Crush and she still loves him.Never expected this people to know Indian Actors.

Mera Naam Jokar was a good movie. But very few liked it because of its huge length as well as different type of story-- the hero is left alone and old in the end, which then people couldn't like. So for a beginner, "Sri 420" and "Jagte Raho" are best from his own production. For other directors, his "Anadi" and "Teesri Kasam" are my favorite.

Please please react to cheesy and stupid songs of SRK- "MAIN TO HOON PAGAL" from Baadshah movie & "I AM THE BEST" song from Phir Bhi Dil hai Hindustani.

Real philosophy of life.. We have lost such Indian Cinema... Which was natural, Genuine and relevant to society... Raj Kapoor always showed such cinema to the world..

I am not sure that the subtitles ever gonna convey the deep meaning this song holds, this song teaches us the way to live life and this song is literally summed up preaching of every religion.

King Harishchandra (Raja = king) is the movie created in 1913 by Dadasaheb Phalke after watching the 1906 movie "The life of Christ" . Story is that King Harishchandra always spoke truth and always kept his promises which resulted of him losing everything (including his family) and becoming a slave due to one promise. The movie has a happy ending though!

The movie Mera Naam Joker is an absolute gem. My dad made me watch it. I normally hate old movies because the audio and video quality is so bad. But man, that movie has the most iconic role of Raj Kapoor. The kind of role that makes great actors into legendary actors.
