Amar Akbar Anthony has three greats actors playing the titular characters. Amar (Hindu) is played by 'Vinod Khanna' . Father of 'Akshaye Khanna' . You saw Akshaye Khanna as the third guy apart from Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan in Dil Chahta Hai. Vinod Khanna was neck to neck in popularity with BigB in 70s BigB emerged as the sole superstar because Vinod Khanna sort of disappeared into spiritual discovery and became a follower of Osho. (Look him up - assuming you read this comment). Akbar(Muslim) is played by 'Rishi Kapoor' - Father of Ranbir Kapoor. WATCH this film . It's an absolute classic and you will know why BIG B was called a ONE MAN INDUSTRY. Also how equipped of an actor he is. He does comedy so brilliantly that everyone in this film gets completely overshadowed and mind you they were all great actors in their own right...
