I also heard about warming the nail tabs with a blow dryer (after the nails are applied). It’s supposed to soften the “glue” of the tab and help the nails stay on longer 🤔

Amazing never thought to use the dehydrater or ph bond. I have every thing you could want for Gelish because I can't grow a nail worth crap. Did not get those genes from my parents. They both could grow nails that did not split or shatter every time they bumped a hand on something. So my nails have always had to have something on them. I hate acrylics but could not find someone that could do hard gel. So I taught my self but it becomes a 2 or 3 hour session to do it with my left hand. Don't trust myself with a rotary so file all by hand. I don't trust my self because I have had a professional go through my nail drawing blood. I am sorry to say I screamed at her.

Loved your video, thanx for the tips. Our Target has a great section of beautiful press ons and so does CVS. I would like them to at least stay on a week so I will try that tip that other lady mentioned about applying glue. Thanks again 💅🏽

I actually don’t have the best experience in Targets when looking for Press Ons. It’s so scarce and not a big selection being that they’re so popular now // Thank you for watching my video and welcome to the club 🤗// I know this method to work for a lot of people. If you feel like you need glue to hold those nails down better (for your lifestyle) by all means. Just soak the nails and take your time taking them off.

@@lexnwatevaI think using glue defeats the purpose. I’ve had my Kiss Impress nails on since New Year’s Eve. They are still on and going strong. I do wear gloves when washing dishes:)

Yes. I only suggested glue due to someone’s lifestyle. Gloves can definitely be a first option. Kiss nails barely come with tabs ever. They only come with glue. So impress nails Are for people who can wear the tabs as long as they need. I know some women like to wear the tab and glue. I think it’s like a barrier for them. To protect their nails

Hello! Which primer are you using? The brand I have is actually preventing the sticky tab from sticking. I bought Modelones dehydrator and primer set, and I'm not happy. I couldn't tell from your video which primer you used. Thank you for your help

So what I have I think is for dip lol But it’s called Quick Dip, step 1 Nail Primer. I got it from Sally’s Beauty Supply store

@@lexnwateva I wear Walmart press ons and I actually do my own nails often (soft gel, hard gel, poly gel, acrylic, I’ve tried it all). But I just purchased two press on sets off Etsy to see if they give me high quality for low effort. Trying to watch videos to get idea on how to apply and remove later because I’ve never used adhesive tabs

@@GlitteredGoose ooou yay! I’m looking forward to trying nail art, using gel polish and maybe even GEL X// with tabs You soak them off with soap, dish liquid, and cuticle oil. You don’t really need acetone in the mix because tabs are way easier they literally will slide off.

Hii! Another press on girly here. So I heard some people put the tabs on their nailbeds then put nail glue inside the press on them apply. Have you tested that technique?

Hi oh my gosh! So glad you’re here 👋🏽Thank You for watching and commenting…. I have not actually tried this method. I think the point of it is to have a barrier between your natural nails and the nail glue. Which I believe nail glue is perfectly safe as long as you are removing your nails by soaking them and not popping them off. Even if you consciously (guilty) pop them off they’re still safe in a sense

Great video! What did you soak your nails in to get the nail tabs off? How long did they take to come off?

Hi there! Thank you so much! Use olive oil, submerge each nail in it. Wait to soak in water, if only they’re on there good because the oil should allow them to just slide off. After 5 minutes the oil should be soaked in well. so you should be able to use your cuticle stick and tug at the nail and then it’ll slide off. If the tabs are stuck lol then use warm to hot water, dish soap and more oil. Let me know how this works for you

Overnight is kinda hard, but anything is better than nail glue lol (I still got nail glue on my nail from 3 months ago I refuse to file anymore and using dish soap, oil, and soaking didn't work, so I'm letting it grow out😔... Hi there. I am using a primer. This is normally used before using the dip system but primer is good for any method being that it helps with adhesion. Here is a link to both primer and dehydrator.
