The song was discarded because didn't blend with the overall tone of the Psycho Circus album.

The riff during the chorus ended up being the ending of We Are One. The same as the chorus part of It's My Life was used for Raise Your Glasses. That's your reason, why these weren't on the album. They were... recycled.

Paul Stanley has always been my favorite member of KISS. (Notice the Starchild tattoo on my chest? lol 😉) but I can see why the powers that be left this song off of “Psycho Circus” It is a catchy song and I absolutely love the bridge but the song would not have fit in the “Psycho Circus” direction. Still, I feel it is a cool song that Paul should release on another solo album. I’m just not sure Paul’s voice is up to the task anymore. 😢

Este es el ejemplo perfecto sobre qué sucede cuando Kiss no tiene un productor... si este disco lo hubieran producido Gene y Paul, este tema de mierda hubiera quedado en el álbum seguramente. Pero el productor, nos guste o no, hizo su trabajo y la canción fue reformada para transformarse en Raise Your Glasses, que quedó con más tinte Kissero aunque sigue siendo un tema demasiado blando... no me gusta Psycho Circus, pero si no hubiera sido por Fairbairn, el disco hubiera quedado mucho peor con demasiadas composiciones egocéntricas del dúo dinámico. ¿Alguien escuchó el demo de Gene "I wanna rule the world"?? Un verdadero espanto... Y después la gente habla mal de Peter y Ace... casualmente el mejor tema del disco es donde están ellos cuatro y donde Ace peleó para que quedara lo más similar a lo que él buscaba: Into The Void.
