I enjoyed the pre show footage as much as the Kiss performance. Takes me back to my childhood. Everyone in my neighborhood pretty much looked like the people seen at this comcert. 🙂

They're in the Montreal metro at first, then in Cabot park across the old Forum, exit at Atwater station - the view with the church in the background can be seen today here: www.google.com/maps/@45.4891316,-73.584207,3a,15y,51.31h,91.03t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sEAjA1E7Di1D-Gra-tIW-aA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

The footage is great to see for me too. I would've been 4 years old at this time but sure brings back memories of the Forum and all the awesome shows I saw there.

This is so cool to see! I was six-years-old in April 1976, and my 16-year-old cousin and babysitter came to my mom with two tickets to see KISS in my hometown that same month! My mom refuses to let me go, saying that KISS was "acid rock" (whatever that means). So I had to wait a few years to finally see KISS live. But the experience only strengthened my love for KISS, one that has lasted a lifetime. Thanks for posting this! It gives me a glimpse into what I might have experienced!

I was also 6 when this took place. I grew up 30 minutes away from the now famous Cobo Arena that gave them their first sold out big show.

I appreciate what you do man this was a great treat wish I wasn't one years old in 75 and I could have been about 13 or 14. If There's one thing I could go back in time & see in the seventies it would be kiss during Dress To Kill and the rock and roll over . And to see Rush during hemispheres and permanent waves

I have seen footage from the European leg of this tour too. They didn`t even have the KISS sign on many shows in Europe. Stripped down to the bone.

Destroyer was released over a month before this show. The album that started the resentments within the band. They had barely a month off before the Destroyer Tour started. Then, two months later, with no break, they went into the studio again recording RARO. Only a month free time before going on the road again. Back in the studio to record Love Gun. One month off. Back on the road. One month off. Then Alive II Tour for 6 months.... No wonder Ace needed a break after that.

Around 7:55 seconds in. In the middle of nothin to lose...someone through something from the crowd. It hit the amps on Ace side. Maybe a lighter. It was maybe a firework. Curious if this happened alot with the Fearsome Foursome ?
@eltoro969 Жыл бұрын
Looks like some kind of small china crackle fireworks they lit and threw on stage. It probably made some noise as you can see Ace and Paul reacted to it at the same time wondering wtf the gun shot sounds came from lol. It probably happened a lot of things like that just to mess with the band. Someone throws toilet paper on stage when they start Detroit Rock City. I remember back in the day some people in the audiences at big rock bands went just to troll the band and the audience. Most often they were drunk hillbillys wanting to fight nerdy city boys. It was pretty wild back in the 70s.

Woaw, thx 4 uploadin' this amazin' footage. To think that in 1976 Paul Stanley is only 24 years old , is mind-boggling! (Mister Stanley was born January 20, 1952.) And in 2021 Paul and Gene were basically still doin' the same show, but with better effects and two "new" members. Imho, this show could indeed go on and on even without any original members.

Yeah this is right before they went to Europe for the first time so this is on the 21st. The last show they played before they went to London was was Kitchener Auditorium Ontario, Canada. And that was on the 23rd. How the hell did they play in London the next day on the 24th.This was a big time for kiss I mean they were really about the explode and become the biggest band on Earth. Prior to their Destroyer tour
