The delivery. The way Paul Stanley delivers this song is smokin'. Back in the day, us girls were puddles at his feet. He was the sexiest man alive. This song solidifies that persona. Paul Stanley plays rhythmn guitar and lead vocals. Gene is on bass, Ace Frehley is lead guitar and Peter Criss on drums. All the guys sing backup.

this album was one of my favorites when it came out...couldn't wait to get it home and on the turntable and listen to the latest KISS album, in fact, in high school, we made outfits and boots, and recreated KISS at a high school talent contest....and they weren't widely popular back in the 70's, but gotta admit, we're ALL still listening to KISS...I'm 62 by the way...and former classic rock DJ on FM radio..Rock On.!!!

I'm a KISS fan since day one and literally grew up on listening to the band at least 5x a day, before and after school and sleep, everyday. They say boys play Cops n Robbers or Cowboys n Indians...my friends and I played KISS Concert.

Guys, I am a big Kiss fan from back in the day(1970's). But still, I do appreciate your critique of this Kiss song. I saw y'all's last reaction video of Kiss("I Was Made For Loving You") and that was cool too! I am a professional musician, and listen to a little bit of everything. You guys give a fair & reasonable opinion of certain songs. I've have seen some of your other videos, and liked them too! Peace, stay safe!

When I was a 16, 7 of us were on our way to see Kiss in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was winter time, and we ended up spinning out on the way, and literally landing in a snow bank. Over half the car (a big tuna boat mind you) was in the snow bank. One of the guys dug his way out of the back passenger window and went for help. Nobody was hurt, just stunned. Well, buy the time the cops, and tow truck all left if was too late, we missed the concert. We were so bummed. Up until that point we were having a great evening. Kiss was apparently something to see live, so sad we missed out, but were okay.

You guys should do "Makin' Love"... that song is awesome. Kiss doesn't give you a lot of variety. Subject matter is all similar. Very meat and potatoes rock n roll. Paul Stanley's vocals? You either like 'em or you don't. It's classic Kiss.

You aren't going to get different vocals. Paul Stanley is who he is. For those of us who were KISS fans back in the day, it was the appeal. They were different, rebels, someone to defy your parents with! They're legends in the industry because of it. Are they the best musically? Probably not, but their stage show is incredible and they have a cult following... myself included. :-)

I can't say for certain who played in the studio. As on several albums, some members missed sessions. However, just to set the record straight when playing live, in the years when it was the original members.......Gene played bass. To my knowledge, live, Gene was the only one that ever played bass. Paul played mostly rhythm, with the occasional lead or solo. Ace played mostly lead, except for the ones where he and Paul switched. And of course Peter on drums.

I think you guys are basically suffering from, not being there! This is the 1970s, disco was king in rock ‘n’ roll was barely alive, bands like kiss cab rock ‘n’ roll alive, and if they had a song? They were going to belted out as hard as humanly possible! I’ll let you know that this wasn’t some disco. Those are Paul Stanley’s vocals and he was good enough to play Phantom of the opera for a while in Toronto!

No Paul Stanley and Gene do not both play bass, Paul may be capable of playing bass but he does not play bass on the albums or during live shows. He is rhythm guitar, Ace Frehley is lead guitar, Gene is Bass, Peter Criss is drums if you're talking about classic kiss. All four original members had hit songs by kiss that they did leave vocals on but Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons split lead vocals on the majority of the songs with Paul probably doing more than Gene

Hey, guys! New to your channel. Have checked out some videos and enjoy your reactions. Have thrown you a sub and some likes! I see you guys are all over the place in regards to what types of music you check out. That's awesome! I did notice that rock seems to be a pretty common thing too. I'm here for that. I'm a punk and metalhead at heart. However, I wanted to propose a reaction candidate to you. They are going to be a bit different, but as someone with the mentioned music roots, I can vouch that they are worth checking out at the very least. Last August, I fell down the K-pop hole. I knew songs from maybe 1 or 2 groups. Didn't know anything about the groups, but I knew that the K-pop industry encompasses an absurd amount of genres and I didn't have anything better to do. Well, mid-December, I was picking a random group to be my next journey. I wasn't ready for the group I ended up picking and in hindsight, I'm so glad I didn't pick any of the other groups (not that they are bad, they just aren't this group). The group's name is *Dreamcatcher* ! They are a seven member K-pop girl group that debuted on Friday the 13th, January 2017. Known for their darker concepts (serious, dystopian, and/or spooky) and for being the only group to incorporate rock into all of their title tracks in some manner. Their earlier rock sound was heavily influenced by J-rock/pop (anime intro vibes). As time went on, their rock sound evolved into a more modern rock sound and they started mixing/blending in other genres. Almost all of their MVs are story driven. Some storylines span multiple MVs and others are standalone. All amazing vocalists (even their two rappers). If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd suggest one of these options as a starter depending on what interests you more: - "Chase Me" & "Good Night" - Debut song and its continuation. Horror movie vibes. MASSIVE anime intro vibes. First two songs of seven in their "Nightmare" series storyline. - "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track. Creepy af. Song lyrics are about obsessive love and the MV concept involves doppelgangers. The MV and choreography are influenced by, and have references to, the movie "Us". - "Scream" (2020) - First song in their "Dystopia" trilogy. The trilogy addresses and calls out anonymous harassment, bullying, and obsession with technology to try and escape that tough reality. It's all handled with well thought out lyrics and a shit load of symbolism in the MVs. There are a few other groups that have rock songs, but only one or two songs. No other K-pop group does what Dreamcatcher does. To clarify, K-rock bands are a separate thing. Dreamcatcher is easily one of the most unique groups you'll experience in K-pop. If you don't vibe with them, it's all good. Giving them an opportunity is what's important to me at least. If you decide to react to them, a pre-emptive thank you! If not, they're worth a listen in your free time, for sure. Thanks for the reactions!

Actually Gene didn't play bass on this song, He wasn't able to get into the studio so someone else had to play for him, Most likely a studio musician or Ace Frehley. There's actually a lot of tracks he didn't play on. Many of Ace Frehley's songs had Ace playing both lead guitar and bass, While in the 80's, drummer Eric Carr would handle bass if Gene or someone else couldn't. A good song to listen to with Eric on bass is "I Still Love You" from their '82 album, Creatures of the Night. This is also a video showing the ones be didn't play on. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJDam4xqaruiiac

A silly song about a guy singing about Mr. Pee Pee. What's funny, though, is after all this fuss, he says: "Girl, I can make you feel........okay." Just okay? Really? I guess "incredible" or "amazing" didn't rhyme. Kind of a buzz-kill for the girl, though. Not their best song, but listenable.
