I was part of the security force at this very concert, and let me tell you, I worked a hell of a lot of concerts during my security days and this was by far the best show I ever worked. I started in middle of the crowd, then the stage barricade and finally I helped escort the band backstage. Paul was nice enough to give me his last guitar pick. I still have it to this day.

It was kind of cool to see PETER CRISS AND ACE FREHELEY doing songs like Heavens on Fire and Lick It Up, songs that they didn't play on.

Bobby Hitt Yea it’s cool but they didn’t want to

I know. I hate when in other bands like Black Sabbath Ozzy never sings Dio stuff or Dio sing Tony's stuff etc. It would be so cool to hear these songs! Very cool of Ace and Peter to play these songs!

I wonder how Ace and Peter felt about doing a song that they weren't originally a part of. I noticed that Ace was sort of hesitant about getting next to Gene.

i remember standing outside the pavilion waiting to get in. you could hear kiss practicing shout it out loud and detroit rock city because they would be playing them that night on VH1, and after a few minutes of silence paul did that opening scream to heaven's on fire and my mom lost her freaking mind lol

Love kiss. Ace and Peter rock. Paul's voice is gone. Not his fault. Everyone ages.

It definitely wasn’t gone here.

I saw two of the shows on this tour and I was disappointed that they played a non-Ace/Peter tune. They have such a backlog of material I always wondered why they felt they had to play this song which is IMHO one of their suckier songs.

the drum sounds so bad, this trigged drum was fucking up everything, Gene and Paul shouldve kicked Peter's ass after the PC Tour, call Singer again and do a decent tour with the one of the best line ups of the band

The playing was worst than the sound. Im ashamed of it.

they kinda settled with Peter Criss, after all Peter answered the add in the paper, Kiss could have kept searching, for a drummer.

Peter was an amazing drummer (and singer) in the bands early days on up until Bob Ezren came along and basically shattered the poor guys ego! Peter's style is more on the jazz/swing side as a player, any other drummer can tell that instantly. Although, he did still managed to created some of Rock's most legendary drum parts! Cocaine did a Hell of a number on him....plus he was the oldest member and was against the 2 most full of shit douche bag pieces of work in Rock n' Roll. Give the cat a break for fucks sake! I think Peter had the dignity to bow out somewhat gracefully when he started to sense KISS was becoming a load of corporate pop merchandising bubblegum garbage. The music seemed to become completely secondary after Destroyer.
@PerpetualArt5 жыл бұрын
DamionChrist + Bob Ezrin shattered poor Peter's ego? What are we talking about, 8th grade gym class! Peter was full of himself. Always threatening to quit if they didn't let him sing songs he didn't write, and other destructive behavior.

I thought they said many times they sound like the record. What record was this trash
