Saw live Eric Carr and Eric Singer and they are both awesome... But the first time a saw Eric Singer playing 'Creatures of the night' i was blown away... His double basedrums killed me lol

this has gotta be the best kiss lineup. eric carr was a monster and prime peter helped make kiss the machine they became, but singer this lineup is so technically tight. i wish the singer and bruce lineup lasted longer. wouldve been better than what we got for the last two decades

I agree all kiss drummers are good but Neil Peart would easily blow them all off the stage. I am a kiss n rush fan seem both bands live many times over the years n Neil is in a league of his own. Rip in peace legend Neil.

@@terryshireman4271 Peart was undeniably talented. Can't argue that. I respect his drumming immensely. That said, Singer was an incredible drummer and I prefer his style. As for blowing Singer and other drummers near or at his level of drumming, sorry, no. Singer was gifted as well. Only a child would refuse to recognize one person's excellence because they prefer another and make such a hyperbolic statement.

@@eclecticx Both talented drummers seen them both play live many times over the years n hardly no one can drum like Neil Peart super complex n lightning fast precision is un matched by most all drummers including Eric Singer plus he plays in the fake kiss band with basic drumming not near as complex n diversified as Neil Peart n Rush anyone who has seen both drummers play live knows Neil is far more advanced than Eric Singer the Peter Criss impersonater.

Neil Peart would blow anyone of the kids drummers right off the stage.I am also a big kiss fan n ace n peter is the real deal Eric Singer n Tommy Thayer are imposters n have no desire to see Gene n Paul with 2 other guys ever ! Ace Frehley solo tours are way better n ace was always the most talented member of the band he doesn't need any stunts or theatrics at his show he performs on shear talent alone.

@@nc3836 they absolutely do not want him to play like Peter. Eric has stated numerous times he changed his style around 95 for the convention tour because he felt he had been overplaying the KISS stuff. so he dialed it back.

I wouldn't say that. He's 63 now where he was 30 here. That alone makes a difference. I'm sure he was told to tone it down to some degree but that's just because they are trying to sound more like classic KISS

A livello tecnico possiamo definire Eric Singer come il migliore batterista dei Kiss. Eric Carr ha portato dei suoni molto particolari nelle canzoni dei loro album e sicuramente non avrebbe avuto nulla da invidiare a Singer! Secondo me il miglior batterista in assoluto dei Kiss è stato Peter che era il musicista più preparato dei 4. L'assolo di batteria in alive 1 ha lasciato il segno in quegli anni e anche le sue rullate non interrotte dal battito sul rullante son state originali per quei tempi. Inoltre la voce di Peter era incredibile per la sua naturalezza di timbrica che non necessitava di alcun effetto vocale. Le sue canzoni hanno fatto la storia dei Kiss . Possiamo dire che Peter è stato il Phil Collins della musica hard rock di quei tempi! Numero uno assoluto! Da menzionare anche Anton Fig che ha suonato benissimo sia su Dynasty che Unmasked

Gene and Paul want him to play like Peter. Eric Carr actually could play like this too, but wasn't allowed to. Listen to Eric Singer on Chris Jericho's podcast...he said that Carr came to see Paul's solo tour with Singer on drums and said "That's how I wanted to play all the songs but Gene and Paul won't let me"

Peter couldn't begin to play what Eric plays here. What Peter played was fine - it was good. But what Eric plays here is amazing. It's up at another (higher) level.
