I am glad you're back. I am old mechanic interested in restoring old multimeters My big question is do you need higher end equipment to identify if a chipset is working or could you figure it out with a good multimeter and process of elimination?

Thank you! I think you can do that with a multimeter. A low voltage power supply with current readout in the milliamps would be great. Then you can power the meters with the power supply and watch the current flow - or you could use a second multimeter for that.

It's good to check the cutoff or bandpass on a filter system.

Nope, but it may come with more utilities by default such as the tracking generator. I'd have to look closer and do a comparison, but at under $2k these are pretty powerful machines;) amzn.to/3oC1OEZ

Hi KIss, amazing video, my respect. Please could you tell me the utility of TG function? The model UTS 3021B have not TG instead UTS1032T yes. I'd like to buy UTS1032T for TG function, but, if is not necessary I prefer UTS3036B because of 40000 point. Thanks.... PS, I just subscribe!

@@KissAnalog ok, but the 3021B in the video hasn't TG, I read on uni t manual that the T model has TG and not B model.... So, I thinking about 3036B...

Yeah I was wondering about an interface to a PC so using a spectrum analyser plugin software with a physical scope be good to see its surprising you didn't reply to my last comment?
