Kissel Kars - The Wisconsin Automotive Museum

Although many of America's most famous marques came from Detroit (such as Ford, GM and Chrysler), neighboring Wisconsin also had some automotive game back in the day with brands like AMC, Oakland, Badger and Kissel. Located in Hartford, Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Automotive Museum boasts the largest collection of Kissel cars and trucks in the world. Once a prestigious car brand famous for trucks and sports cars owned by celebrities of the time (like actor "Fatty" Arbuckle and pilot Amelia Earhart), Kissel has since faded into some obscurity. If you enjoy automotive history and learning about defunct car brands, maybe take a trip to Hartford to see the Wisconsin Automotive Museum! Great Museum! I love seeing so many KISSEL cars back home in Hartford, WI…and I imagine the times when every starlet and mogul in Old Hollywood clamored to own one..!! They were the ‘bees’ knees..!’
