Hi Bart, Thank you for these videos. I've found them to be very helpful, so far. I'm still working my way through them. How would you handle it if you've worked at a company for more than 10-15 years? Do you leave some of your time in that organization off your resume?

You're welcome! I'm glad the videos are helpful. To answer your question, I would be upfront with the dates. 15 years in one company is fine, especially if you are still working there, or worked there relatively recently, say within the last 10 years. If it's further back, you might consider not including it in your resume. It really depends on the resume strategy you choose to use for the type of job, and its corresponding requirements, that you are applying for.

I updated my resume to go back 15 years, but first job listing I found I wanted to apply for requested minimum of 16 years experience. Also going back only 15 years made my work history look choppy as it was all contract jobs, not the previous long time perm roles. I removed dates from my resume and listed only the jobs I wanted to advertise under an "Experience Highlights" section. It's all such a game!

It definitely is a game, and there are no rules, just guidelines, which can change from situation to situation. That is why on YT I can only give general tips. Wishing you all the best in your job search.

Sir how to deal with Office Politics when it is getting in our way of Promotions ? A lot of people says that they are restricted upto a limit in the company & are not progressed as per their skills or talent..How do u see such situations where there are a lot of Enemies in the same group...

It may be time for you to update your resume and start applying to other companies.

it's all pointless because AI is doing it for them now just leaving out dates will be filtered by AI now, the new script says no dates = old person trying to hide their age
