Its a really cool keyboard especially for the price; its surprising that they didnt make it more expenisve due to the uniquenes. The possibilitys with this keyboard is endless.

@KeebNews It's fun to mix and match with your own logo bricks if you have some since its logo compatible. I made mine an ocean based keyboard with a wavy pattern and some whale key caps to make a really nice aesthetic. Thank you childhood for loving legos!

You can fix half of the problems with 1 solution just put tall feet on the number side of the keyboard, it will move around less and have a better angle. I think it would be cool to also buy custom lego pieces to modify it easier than you can with other keyboards. There are things you can use to make custom lego pieces that you fully design I'm pretty sure not sure what it is but I'm pretty sure it exists.

There's plenty of lego parts that could be used as rubber pads (and plenty of others to make stadoffs for the rubber pads). The best ones that come to mind are probably 45590, 24375 and 14149. Or just any small lego tire.

LEt's GO indeed. :) I'd recently got into building lego sets thanks to my colleague (and it's thanks to me that I got her into keyboards too haha) so to discover that a keyboard kit you can build out of legos exists is an absolute dream for me. Not to mention I was shocked by the price! Hm. Would you recommend this kit as a possible daily driver? I'm also curious that if you change switches and keycaps, would it change the typing experience compared to it in stock form? I've only found videos of this kit in full rather than barebone and I wanted to know if there may be a difference in building experience? Also, is this kit OK used stock or do you have to do minor mods too? Enjoyed the video and review! In fact, I enjoy all your videos, Sir Pete, especially ones with puns because who doesn't love 'em? Haha.

Something about that space bar in yours sounds really off. Also, I want to know how to replicate that sound. A colleague has one, I'm not sure if they modded it but it sounded so nice in person and felt great. I never quite liked any of the linears I tried, but this one I could actually see myself using. I really want that droplet-like sound and feel, but in a wireless 75. Do you have any suggestions?

AKKO SILVERS. You won’t be disappointed. Space bar = not sure! It sounds like it fits in (in person at least). Sound = THICK sound-dampening foam. Like, thicc. Gasket-mounted. Any 75 kit that comes with those could be close? (KBD or NovelKeys kits are probably the cheapest?)

@@KeebNews Did u lube stabilizers? Will make or break your build. The ticking is due to the wire, and this needs to be lubed to kill wire tick

if you live in Canada the full kit is 160$!! so i would just buy the base kit and get the keycaps off of they're website and by the switches off of epo maker (100 switches for 25$ CAD)

Sry but what does hot swappable mean.

It means the switches (underneath each keycap) are NOT soldered into the PCB (think: motherboard). This allows you to easily take the switches out and swap them for different ones (without getting out the soldering iron and de-soldering, etc)
