A cool way to do some metal with the speed paint is lay down a silver metallic base on what you want gold and then use the sand golem speed paint over the top. comes out nice

I second Gavin Woods' comment and add any FOWW teams...Speaking of FOWW, I've mustered up to the painted point where either A I use a cheap homemade wash and hope or B wait for Cash to get the Army painters' wash, goblin green, and what ever else I need. What do you think of washes?

I believe Hasslefree minis do a set of the Scooby Doo gang in 28mm, both normal and post-apocalyptic raider variants. Their website is down for a revamp currently, so I can't actually check their catalogue.

Not sure what model could be kitbashed for Mek-Quake. The Ad-Mech Kastelan Robots could be a basis for Hammerstein. Various Ad-Mech figures might form the basis for both Joe Pineapples and Blackblood. No idea what models would be an option for Ro-Jaws.....

That conversion is great! Almost can't tell it was originally a space marine! For your Scooby Doo idea, the Elucidian Starstriders kill team might be good? I don't know if the models would be any good for converting but they have rules and a mini for a dog (and a couple more interesting operatives like a rogue trrader and a death cult assassin) at least!

Extra thin isn't for sticking pieces together, generally speaking, its for covering hairline gaps etc. You need some medium polycement, it'll make assembly much more straight forward as it bonds super quick.

You could also use Necromunda Palanite Enforcers with only minor kitbashing to produce either Arbiters or Judge Dredd judges.
