Our home internet has been disconnected all week! Can you imagine a youtuber without internet!!! So we didn't even realise there was an audio glitch for some people until it went live. If you have trouble hearing the voices at any point of the video it's because your speaker/headphones aren't working on one side. Unplug the headphones or try on a different device. Thanks for being understanding :)

@@leavingitblank9363 - May I translate? All these are deep-fried or sometimes baked for lower fat content: Thin slices of potato (usually across the width) are crisps; large rectangles of potato (usually the length of the potato) are chips; skinner versions of chips are french fries, and are served by Americans; large sections of potato, usually cut along the length and then into triangular slices (pie-shaped) are wedges. Steak fries are yet another cutting style, but are closer to chips than fries.

I know this is an old video and everybody was talking about the voice being super low, but I'd like to add that the subtitles are a little odd, sometimes you say something and it doesn't appears on the subtitles and when you are testing the cupcake pan (with the pointy thing in the middle) it keeps showing things about the crisps (previous gadget) I'm not a native English speaker so I always turn on the subtitles to be sure of what I'm hearing (and sometimes I have to watch videos without sound)

Australianllama i Not to be a nit picker, but 100 years is a quite an exaggeration. The Saratoga incident was actually in 1853. So, that’s 36 years. Either way, William Kitchiner was decades earlier to put it in his 1817 book. That we agree on

In the UK they are called crisps, however I call them chips because my parents are South African. Chips in the UK, would be like thicker fries that you'd have with fish (fish and chips), and fries are more like the thinner chips that you'd get at McDonald's or KFC. Also it's usually chips if it's oven cooked, fries if it's cooked in oil.

I bought one of those chip cutters and the blade was far too low within a few slices. We ended up using a vegetable slicer and they were so much easier and tastier. But I recommend seasoning them before cutting them. I recommend paprika, oil, salt, vinegar, onion granules, mixed herbs🌿, oregano, peper, garlic granules, and my favourite, cumin. Yum, Yum, Yum.
