This reminded me of our old lifestyle use to fight with my parents when I started decluttering 🤣. They keep buying new stuff but won't donate old stuff...I want to donate some kitchen stuff they said it still good and there's space for it I said but we have too much we only going to use new stuff anyway so why keep old one around? They said what if we run out I said then we wash it and use it again 🤯. Took some convincing from time to time but it finally click and I'm so glad they were on board for several years now. They would never want to go back having too much stuff again they said, it's so easy to clean and manage. They specially love it when friends compliments how clean, spacious and organized our house is 😁.

We made over my daughter’s room. It was our spare room/office and she was sharing with her sister and she wanted her own room. So we cleared it all out and painted one wall red as she loves red. So nice to have a good sort out and have everything organised. Xx

Great job on all the organization you've done!! I wanted share a tip that I've done for the owner manuals I've had to keep-I use a binder with page protectors and put 2 manuals in each protector page, it's easy to add to, take away, or flip through when one is needed. 😊

Girl, I'm a Yeti snob! LMBO! And, I'm not afraid to say it!😆 I use them everyday for coffee, sweet tea, energy drinks... you name it! I did have to order an insert for my cup holder in my car for the 30oz Yeti. But, I feel they certainly are worth the money! Lol! And, why must people comment about how many cups, pans, etc you have in your home? It's YOUR home...move on people! BE KIND...if you can't...say NOTHING! I've been on the decluttering and organizing train the past few months! It's crazy what we can accumulate! Holy cow! But, I take it day by day! Thanks for the motivation, Michelle! I just found you, and love this video. So many ideas. We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and I purposely designed it to only have 3 drawers. That way I can't have "junk drawers." No upper cabinets either. I will have 4 open shelves, 4 pantries, a lazy Susan, and a small 9" cabinet. That's it. I am going to be strategic with my arrangements, but I also don't have small children anymore either. My "baby" is 18. Thanks for the ideas.

Gave me motivation and I got a few things on Amazon you showed us like the cord magnetic wraps… the bottles I would get rid of you’re actually supposed to get new baby bottles everything 3-6 months so I always just threw them out and got new ones.. you do you though.. however you did ask so just my input. :) Thanks for the motivation. ❤️

Hi Michelle! I have suggestion for your baby bottles. Keep the set you saved for possible daycare. The rest you can contact your states foster care office and see if you can donate there. You do need several. I can’t tell you how many bottles I found under the car seat or couch when mine was little. Foster parents would be grateful to have the donation. Your kitchen looks great! Jealous of your cabinet space, but I love my house so I make it work.

Looks wonderful! Beautiful spice rack. I have the same spice containers. I hated that funnel. What I did was use my own funnel and put a paper plate underneath so when I spilled some it wouldn’t be on the counter. 😊

I love how the spice rack turned out! 😍💕 You probably mentioned this in the video and I just missed it but where did you get the spice rack from? I got those same glass spice jars from Amazon too and at first I thought the idea of a collapsible funnel was brilliant but after about a third of the way in I hated it so much because all the spices were sticking to the silicone that I threw it away and just bought a cheap plastic funnel from Walmart lol 🤦‍♀️ Worked a million times better though lol. I guess I missed the memo, as I have my spices stored up in my pantry but I still put the round labels on the lids and the clear labels on the glass lol. I'm like you, in that, I'll declutter when it gets crowded looking but not to the point of being minimal. I think it would look kind of stupid if you only had like 12 cups total in your whole kitchen or something crazy minimal like that 😜

The spice rack a got a few years ago from a place called the Paul Michael company. They do have a website but I’m not sure how much stuff they ship. That rubber funnel, omg lol, I feel exactly the same! I should have got a plastic one it would have made it so much faster! 😂😂

How do you know when the spices expire now? (yes they don’t “go bad” but they expire and taste off/bad) (I’m a professional organizer and I don’t decant a lot as the upkeep tends to overwhelm people in the long run)

My husband pretty much eats spice from his hand. He will let me know lol. My pantry jars I wrote the expiration on the bottom of the jar with tape.

Bet you do a lot of cooking with all the spices.. I don't like cooking however, I do as we.must eat but don't use a lot of spices because my husband doesn't like most of them. I love to eat food someone else has cooked. Great job!!!!

Thanks! I actually don’t cook a ton. There are a lot I have bought for recipes here and there and everything in the cabinet is my husband‘s for what he has bought for grilling. I go through phases of cooking and not cooking lol.

Exactly! I figured we could find it online! The spice rack in the drawer slides in and out. So when I got it it was a different size so that you could slide it under and adjust them so they ended up being different sizes.

I’ve noticed that people tend to have 100 spices and only use about 10. I have a really large clear lazy Susan and only kept my top 14 that fit in it and everything else got tossed! Who uses sage and allspice regularly? Not me! 🗑 😄
