Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying the video! I just wanted to clarify that this new Kitchen Princess series will be broken up by my regular creepy videos. I know this topic is pretty out of character for me, but I just really wanted to take some time and relax with something that makes me happy. I love you all so much! -Jules

Wait am I the only one finding like..countless similarities to Revolutionary Girl Utena here? Like..the dress prank, the whole "prince" thing, and the weird "small child wants to commit suicide because of dead parents but is cheered up by someone that leaves a mysterious symbol that leads her to a school later in life to find him again" like???

I would've loved this manga as a 10 year old girl and now I'm gonna love it as a 19 year old man. Kitchen Princess is in the same category as Tokyo Mew Mew, Pixie Pop, and Shugo Chara for me and I am here for it.

I just finished re-reading a very wholesome manga (which coincidentally is called Silver Spoon) and was wondering what to read next!! But if anyone reading this hasn't heard of it: Silver Spoon is set in an agricultural high school in Hokkaido. The main character was burnt out from the academic overachiever study-til-you-drop lifestyle he was facing at his old school and transferred to a farm school bc he lost his will to carry on after he didnt make the top score on a test or something. Like if he couldn't be the best he thought he'd just be a nothing. He ends up finding healing and growth while learning about farming and animal husbandry, and how to make real friends and to care about bigger things than himself. As a reader you learn a lot about food science and agriculture from the comic too! If you're into wholesome feel good healing manga you've got to check it out. Also it was written and illustrated by the guy who made full metal alchemist, and I like to imagine he got burnt out after making FMA that he simply HAD to make his next story more mellow and down to earth to recover lol

One of my favourite things is to watch people rant on things they love, even if those things aren't always the highest quality things ever. There's a few anime that I liked a lot as a kid that I feel I love in a similar way although one of them actually held up pretty decently when I rewatched it recently. Also, very nice aesthetic, I love your makeup and accessories.

Kitchen Princess was basically the first manga that I read all the way through. I loved the manga so much, that I read the whole entire series including the light novel FOUR times. I remember being 14 years old, a freshman in high school and absolutely LOVING Kitchen Princess so much. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it gave me so many emotions! 🥺💕. I’m now a fully grown woman, and I think I want to revisit this manga that I adored so much when I was younger. I hope one day it gets turned into an anime, I would love that.
