Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies:
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 cup sourdough starter
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt (plus flaky salt for sprinkling)
2 cups chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars in a large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients (Except chocolate chips). Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, then let rest in refrigerator overnight. The next day, let sit at room temp for 30 minutes, before dropping rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. I later tried sprinkling the cookies with flaky salt and they were AMAZING so I highly recommend adding that little step 😉 Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins or until lightly golden.
