The "smokehouse barbecue" element to the chocolate chip cookie is The Smell of 7-Eleven. It permeates the entire store, it sticks to every baked/hot good near the registers. When I take my mask off after spending 5-10 minutes in a 7-Eleven, the mask ITSELF smells like that smokehouse barbecue grime.

omg yeah i would love this! every time i go to h-mart there's like 9,700 and i get so overwhelmed that i normally stick to the ones i'm familiar with. it would at least be affordable, but idk it might be annoying from a production standpoint (you can't make a small amount of ramen, you have to make the whole package; it's a lot of cooking and cleaning and boiling water).

Little food fight idea : y’all go to the same grocery store, separately shop 5 ingredients for each other to make a competing dish with. Then once given the surprise items, go to a store & choose an additional 5 ingredients to make a complete, cohesive dish. Kind of mystery box chopped style in a way - but- not lol.

Maybe Brie chooses food items from two stores, then Kitchen and Jorn guess where they’re from on taste alone. If they were all plated the same it might be interesting, considering how much stuff you guys have tried. Especially if it was an affordable store versus like Whole Foods or something. Black cats are the best! My old roommate adopted a black cat when she lived in the south (where superstitions are unfortunately very common). The poor little guy had been in the shelter for several months, and he turned out to be the sweetest and most affectionate kitty.

As an owner of a black cat, they’re sleek, beautiful, incredible creatures who have zero brain cells and are a little derpy. Mine’s fangs have overgrown his lip, and he has a little spit shine and smiles. He’s probably the best at hide and seek, but only with the lights off because he has no concept of personal space. It’s honestly a trip hazard but one I play daily with love. Who wouldn’t want that?

Are you sure this was a delivery day for this 7Eleven? I imagine they operate similarly in the US as they do in Canada. If they do, 90% of what you tried was shipped in, probably from another state. Even on a delivery day, 7Eleven pastries are often already going stale. The cookies, on the other hand, are most likely baked on-site. The balls of cookie dough are sent in frozen and baked in the same oven they do things like fries or chicken nuggets. If I had to guess, their oven needs a good clean!

We have a black cat. She was at the shelter for 3 years before we adopted her and had been dropped off there as a kitten. She is the sweetest cat ever. Honestly 7-11 is not the place to go for pastries. It's quick. I also do not buy anything that is not packaged because I've seen people open the case and touch them multiple times.

I would bet a lot of money that those pastries are not made by the 7-11 company. For example, Doughnut Peddler delivers pastries to most of the Circle K's (another large gas station chain in my city) every night. I would bet that 7-11 does the same. Very few gas stations have fresh pastries that they make in their own corporate kitchens
