The LHS isn't even an actual mandoline and watching her use the one slicing blade without any kind of hand guard was horrifying. You also largely fail to go into any detail on where each performs well or falls short, just rattling off what sounds like promotional copy from the manufacturer/distributor.

And you guys not even mentioned a Swissmar?! As a chef for 27 years, I can say that a Borner's mandoline is one of the best on the market, and will last you a lifetime. The Progressive PL8 and the Benriner (Japanese) are the only ones that can hold a candle to the Borner.
