Cooked it last night. Ran out of sage, so I used parsley instead, and cox’s apples. It was bloody delicious, and even topped your Tuscan chicken recipe. Keep up the good work x

@@Kitchensanctuary well i have been going on a kitchen/food school for 3 years, and every wednesday we had themes day, so every wednesday it was something new as authentic, thai food or spanish or african and so on, and i loved it, i had over 500 defrend recipies from all over the world, but lost every thing when i had fire in my aparment 9 years ago, so all those recipies and cooking books i had collected all was gone, so im just injoying to whats videos in here, first of all to try something new and taste something defrend, second of all is also to get inspirated to my dinner, and i had send the video to my mom and sister, and they were both OMG hell yea lets make it 2morrow, so yea we gonna make this dish 2morrow hehe

You can leave them out if you don't like them. You could always add some other veggies such as baby carrots and/or courgette (zucchini) chunks. These can be added right before the dish goes in the oven.

You could but I'd recommend a really low heat and check on the dish regularly as you don't want it to catch and burn on the bottom of the pan.

Lovely recipe. I have the same pan as in video, btw. I didn't have hard cider -- used a dash of white wine to deglaze along with regular apple cider and a ham stock -- I lowered any salt. Served with baby white roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach. Nice contribution, thanks.
