Have you tried the Spitfire yet? I have the 780 Spitfire with 6M kite and ride similar to you. So fun! nice vid.

Yes, absolutely! I replaced my entire quiver with Spitfires last summer when they first came out and really like them, although for prone I hope they release something Spitfire-like that's higher aspect, along the lines of the Code S series. Anyways, I'm kiting on the Spitfire 720 in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWOnin17fqqJepo

so much fun! clouds are enough power for a surfboard?? im 220lbs so i always need a bit more grunt

Yes, they work great for strapless surfboard. The 6.2 and 4.8m are my goto for 20-30mph winds which is when I do most of my kitesurfing. Clouds rely on efficiency so you need to keep your board speed high and let the apparent wind do the work. Here's a video: vimeo.com/190032562

Great video! What mast length are you using for this setup?
@plasticvicar Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks! I use 75cm for all sports: prone, kite, and wing. Back in the day I kited on a 1m mast but it was messing up my muscle memory for prone so I just standardized on 75cm for everything.

Handsome carves! Is that a BRM cloud?

Yes, 4.8m Cloud E. I've been using the Clouds since '15, perfect kites for foil and strapless surfboard.
