Another good tutorial. When riding toe side, the back hand feels quite intuitive (in/out, more/less power) but it's the front hand that took time to dial in, especially when trying to get upwind.

Good bit about practice in light air which forces you to good technique. Good job

Yes, leaning windward does help a lot to add to stability--I had to learn that the hard way. I've really been emphasizing toeside riding in my last few sessions. Initially it feels very wrong but it's the cornerstone to jibes and tacks so can't be avoided. Happily, it's starting to feel natural. One thing that helped my muscle memory is just taxiing toeside. It's something I try to practice when the wind is too light to foil.

@@kitesurfcollege Thanks for all the insightful videos! It's a challenging sport to learn, let alone master. Having these essential, bite-sized skills to work on helps reduce some of the frustration.

Your videos are the gold standard. Do you have any tips for starting directly into toeside from the water after a crash?

Thanks very much, good advice. I’ve come from yrs of windsurfing and 10 hrs in to wing/foil use I’m struggling as soon as I head nr toeside it’s just so alien to me. I’m off to give your advice some attempts. Where do you sail/ shoot your vids? Looks like a great location. 👍

Man it feels awkward, reading the comments etc might have to try taxi first ,been winging for a while but haven't got jibe yet ...one direction is definitely easier than the other though for me.
