With everything going on in the world atm it’s not surprising that some food prices would of gone up. Panic buying and stocks are low - that’s what starting to happen again in my area of the UK!! This year has definitely been a weird one - hopefully your journey back home will go off without any further delays or issues. Stay safe 🚐🎥🐕

I was a bit shocked at some of those prices, found food in East Africa quiet expensive in super markets for sure outdoor/covered markets a lot cheaper. we used to wrap our veg up in news paper to stop sweating and ruining other produce and kept in a barrel. And would have a box of carb foods like pasta/rice/porridge. Our menu on the road was ugali (corn porrige) with dried milk and dried fruit and honey . Avocado's, bread and chutney for lunch which we would just make as we drove. And dinner always some kind of veggi dish with carbs. It works! You said to comment so I thought I'd share of my time on the road in Africa .

Nice video! Marjane is expensive for Morocco, but it's also handy. There is a hot wind in Morocco called Chergui, it's the wind coming from the desert, also usually full of sand. On bad stormy chergui days you gotta shut all window and door seals with wet towels to prevent sand from coming into the house, it's pretty crazy and the sky turns orange! It's not often it gets this bad though (depending on the region also I guess). But Im not sure that's actually what you experienced in Agadir 🤷🏽♀️

Hi Very interesting vlog, would love to visit Morocco. Maybe a summary of costs etc once you're done, OK ..Lot of questions. How do you find shopping in Souk especially haggling, is quality good? What scams might you need to watch out for. How about language, you seem to get by with English and a bit of French? Was it easier to live/shop in rural South or busy North?. How was living down in Dakhla? How easy did you find locating suitable camp spots, are there many Campsites? How about those who are non Vegan/ Veggie, would it be easier/cheaper to switch while there? How do you find having Sen there, feeding her, keeping her safe from infection, etc I've seen lots of wild dogs about in your vlog?

Dont worry about the food of the souks, in Morocco is everything 100% fresh, not like here in Europe or the US, where everything is filled with chemic shit. If you dont speak Berber or Darija, you can save yourself with French/English/ Spaninsh in the big cities. Dakhla is in the very south of Morocco, which is not busy like in the North. If you wanna see the beauty of Morocco, it will take months to see everything.

hey! i am Moroccan, and i'd be happy to help. sadly, i won't answer every question as i only live in its capital, rabat. to kick it off, every product in the souks are fresh. however, it is not 100% sure. i usually buy my vitamins off the supermarket. to my knowledge, i have never experienced a scam what's so ever nor my family from abroad. the people are friendly, and would be more than grateful to sell their products with grace. last but not least, the pets. well, over here we have got lots of wild dogs. i do not know the answer for that one but uhm i have had a pet brought from the US (Florida), and nothing happened. hope that answers SOME of your questions.
