Great filming once again Alex.. I have had a couple of 4x4 trips to Morocco and I think there is a time to bartering but not just for the sake of it, as it can be very time consuming. If you are happy with the prices, then you are not being ripped off. These stall owners have a living to make as does your helper. Enjoy the culture and be proud you are contributing to it.
@lester2473 жыл бұрын
We went to that market last year. Great choices & we did buy some stuff. But we were taken around by a local & we wanted honey. The stall owner quoted £12, we declined. Later in a small town, side street shop, we bought much the same fo 80 pence. On occasion when we felt we were about to be overcharged, we just offered €1 & asked what we’d get for that. It worked fo dates, oranges, baclava etc. Takes a while to understand what the food prices should be. Breakfasts in small cafes were great people watching places & very reasonable prices. Great county, we will be back..

Liked, commented and watched all the adds.😀 what a difference in pricing - can’t believe it’s so much cheaper than the regular super markets. You would think that it would be more expensive because they are smaller businesses trying to compete with the bigger super markets, but seems more of an experience to shop locally and they are definitely a friendly crowd. Landed up taking a trip down memory lane and watched the time lapse video on your van build. You look so different today, mostly your hair!! Anyways enjoyed the video - stay safe 🚐🎥🐶🍏🥦🥕🍅🍉

That's simply because almost all Moroccans are farming land owners and in every Moroccan family there is a Farmer... Our previous king made a law that forgein corporate can't buy land and if it's a share, it can't get over 49% which preserved the control of this industry to the Moroccan farmers

You should first know that major markets such as coral are very expensive for things like vegetables, fruits and fish..so I suggest that you do not buy this from coral..from there, buy only the playgrounds..As for the vegetables and fruits I buy them from the souk, and the meat from the butcher .. Also, I want to tell you that there is a rise in prices in major cities here..if you are in my city, for example (Taza), you will save about 40% of the money..and I wish you good luck on your trip..enjoy💙
