Thanks again for your kind words :) Yeah unfortunately it has been a while since the last one but I've been quite busy the last couple months. This is my first video edited in Davinci Resolve and it was really fun, like learning a new language. So hopefully the next video won't take so long since I really enjoy exploring the limits with Resolve.

@@EmilWilkensRC Haha I used to export in H265 as well, but I just watched a video on Resolve Export Settings / YT Compression and the best codec for YT is DNHX, however the file sizes are huge since it's more or less uncompressed I think. I didn't think it would take YT over 2 hours but I was wrong :D But it seems like the video is finally processed.

Everything was your usual style, except the colours looked different in this video, so I thought that might be because you were using resolve. It could also be change of scene, since the beach is a rather monotone environment. Music choice and work - 10/10

@@KiTrisExtremeRc Why did you choose Resolve for this video? Does it have some big advantages over FCP? I tought that Final Cut Pro is the top level software. When I bought a MacBook, I had to choose between these two programes. I downloaded both and Final Cut seemed much easier to use, so I bought it with a cool discount for students

@@KiTrisExtremeRc Also I tested smoothness of both programes. I put 4k 120fps GoPro clip on the timeline and just play it. Resolve was dropping some frames but FCP is very smooth. And the best thing is background rendering 🙂 Even with some effects and transitions it works smooth without proxy files 😃

@@Marek_Z_RC I switched to Resolve, not just for this video. Yeah Final Cut is definitely a top level software, however there are some bugs in there which Apple hasn't addressed in all those years and Resolve in general is just way superior, especially when it comes to color grading. But I still prefer the usability of Final Cut, it's such a joke that Resolve doesn't support pinch to zoom on a trackpad to zoom into the timeline. FCP has also smoother playback as you noticed, but not by much.. so that's okay with me.

Ive been reading the comments about you saying that you are trying out Davinci Resolve too. I started using version 17 several months ago. It's been my favorite over shotcut. There is a steep learning curve to this new software, but I'm observing and trying out new features on it. Dynamic Zoom is my favorite tool so far. Super excellent video my friend.👍

Thank you :) Yep I've switched from Final Cut. The change was way bigger than expected haha. All the muscle memory is gone now, or changed since Resolve works in a different way. But overall it's just way superior compared to Final Cut, especially with the yearly update they do.
