Just used your video tutorial to swap out my PS pump. I'm glad this video clearly demonstrated how much better it is to leave the alternator and accessory bracket attached to the engine. No need to fumble around with removing those additional parts.

Wish I would of seen this video a couple weeks ago when I replaced my pump on my 2001 Chevy. Didn’t realize I could leave the pressure line on when pulling the pump out. I also made a few other mistakes along the way. I have to take it all apart again, I didn’t bleed it properly now I got air in my pressure line and it’s causing the pressure line to vibrate when turning the wheel. Great video, I appreciate you taking the time to show this job.

Did you say the cooler should be changed out along with the pump? Why

Edad Pops Because when the pump fails the metal shavings from the bad pump will get in the cooler and if you don't replace it those metal shavings will flow back in the new pump which will shorten the life of the new one!
