I've seen them 3 times I think-once in a smallish bar in KC and thought they were ridiculously good (same week Bowie died...they killed 3 or 4 of his songs). I had heard what you were saying before. To the best of my knowledge she had quit drinking. Not 100% on that but... Had opportunity to talk w/ band and Chloe afterwards. Band said she wasn't about them drinking and had kind of made them all vegan. Lol. Who knows.

It's got such a good build and release, it's just anthemic. It's that kind of song you can hear a bunch of kids at prom night or a whole sports arena singing along to. There's real feeling of catharsis at the song's climax. I don't mean to come off like a pretentious snob, but pop idols like Katy Perry or Taylor Swift got nothing that hits it the way G# does.
