So fun fact we can remember things early on if theyre traumatic. Seeing your parents attacked, being ripped from your mother, and being dropped off in a strange place with no recognizable adults will make you remember memories. There have been people who were abandoned by there parents, taken by cps, kidnapped as a toddler, or taken away due to war who remember their parents face and the exact moment the incident occurred between the ages of 1 and 2. My mom was left with her god mother at 18 months old and for years she remembered chasing her moms car down the driveway crying for her. I imagine she forced herself to forget as a coping mechanism and because she was so young. But as soon as meteora had the trigger it all came flooding back to her.

I think Eclipsa found out she was pregnant and that on top of the shock of the love confession prompted her running away. Her baby would not have been safe in the castle, eclipsa would have probably thought the baby would be obviously half monster and never would be accepted so she made a spur of the moment decision and jumped ship

She’s such a sympathetic tragic villain and one that was set up so well since the beginning. Like ppl think toffee was the best villain of the show for me Meteora was the best. Like that reveal in S1 that she had cheek marks was so strange since we saw only Star and moon have cheek marks so it was something to remember. Then seeing her suck the life force from the princesses to keep her young which explains how she’s still alive after all these years but also allowing her cheek marks to show and then the reveal came which shocked the fanbase. The baby of a queen and a monster who was biracial yet society would never accept her so she was cast out before having the chance to do anything. Deemed as threat to society but her being raised the way she did by St Olga really broke her psyche after all that abuse. So you feel really bad for her that she lost everything when she deserved to be next for the throne but also recognize bc of how she grew up into the person that she is today she’s not fit to rule Mewni. So it was a happy ending for her that she got reset into a baby for Eclipsa to raise her the proper way. She’s also the strongest villain in the show and the reason I couldn’t take Mina seriously as a villain since she was OHKO by Meteora.

I don't know why, but I get so peeved whenever Star says she's not a royal, when her father is literally from a royal family! Granted, they're like royal barbarians, but that doesn't change the fact that her father is of royal bloodline, like I get where she's coming from because they ruled Mewni, and turns out the family that ruled it wasn't theirs but like, SHE'S STILL A ROYAL! Again, I dont know why, but it just irritates me so much.

Much like Marco's "brother" they really didn't use these two characters much. They basically reset her to try and remove any evils she's done which doesn't work honestly she still did it. Honestly wish they did give her an arc before setting her back as the entire family deserved better from the mewmons and monsters for both just being awful to one another

I'll be honest, I never really cared for Meteora as a character, but I did like the idea behind her. It was especially interesting to see how she was a counterpart to Tom in a way. They're both Mewman/Monster hybrids born into royalty, but that's where the similarities stop. Tom, despite being half monster, gets to keep his royal status, his riches, and gets to remain with his parents. Meteora was stripped of her royal title, taken away from her parents, and passed off into the "care" an abusive robot all BECAUSE she was half monster. It's established that "monster" is an arbitrary term in Mewni anyway, which makes the different treatment the two get even more jarring. It kinda reminded me of how mixed-race people can be treated better or worse depending on which race they resemble more. Tom only has a few monstrous features and looks mostly Mewman, so he gets a pass for the most part. Meteora initially looks like a normal Mewman, but is eventually revealed to have many monstrous features that she keeps hidden because they make her resemble her monster father more than her Mewman mother.

But no without further to adue todu, let's finally talk about the Mistress of Strictness to later on bein' the daughter of both The Queen/King Of Darkness; Miss Heinous/Meteora Butterfly!!!

Wow. I forgot how tragic and messed up Meteora’s story was. Imagine being snatched away from your parents, given away to a racist psycho robot who shames you your whole upbringing over how you look and routinely brainwashes you via Clockwork Orange style. Meteora had every right to become a villain! The fact that she had WAY more powerful magic while Festivia had a weaker grasp implies Meteora could have made a better queen but never could cause of racism. But yeah, I’m also mixed and love Meteora. I always saw her as a representation of the racist issues faced by biracial people while her parents (Eclipsa and Globgor) are symbolic of the issues mixed race couples would face
