This actually PMO because you are not supposed to "make it understandable for the world" your ment to say our cultures history in truth, as it is.. none of this has been presented in a way where it is true to our culture. I've watched all the "episodes" on the Maori veiw of creation and if you really did know your history you'd know that each tribe has their own perception. I am highly dissatisfied with this content as it's only been created in this light to "make sense" to the western society. This isn't the truth for every single Maori, it's one tribes perception, mixed with a little western veiw, and that I by far the truth. Our culture is so important to us, we are one of the last countries to be able to have a say (in western society, thanks to the treaty) and we are mixing it up? No. You tell the world the truth. Highly disappointed.

It is pretty much what I was taught as a child but yes it is made more understandable for foreigners.. but unless you are a Maori who has lived among the forest, mountains or seas you can never fully grasp the deepness of our ancestors nor our traditions or beliefs.
