I just bought a FD2R. The constant bouncing on the road, the turning radius, it really feels like you're driving a race car. I still have the original exhaust and so the VTEC feels even more intense when the car which is usually pretty quiet suddenly starts screaming.

RRC intake manifold (the FD2 ones) jr35 throttle body, tsx cams and 50° vtc pinion + hondata. Add that and you will get 250hp NA. And for finish, i'd put an fn2 lighter flywheel (maybe you already have it?) and a dc5 LSD. with that your accord could destroy any NA type R

@KiwiCarLife2 жыл бұрын
Yeah man if you're getting 8700rpm from a k24 that would be awesome - biggest Achilles heel is the oil pump that won't let it rev out beyond 8. Once you fix that, the K24 is infinitely better than the K20

I'd say: AP2 S2000 NA2 NSX CL7 Euro R FD2 Type R The older Hondas are good, and might deliver the most "raw" driving experience, but they're just too old for me. No features, cramped, rattly interior, impractical and old so they'll start having paint fade, rust, burning oil issues. To me the golden era of Honda was the later K series era: DC5, FD2, CL7/9, AP2 and so on. These were the last "truly great" Honda sports cars before they all disappeared for a bit.
