Surprised how prickly the last topic was. Took a while for Diego to eventually get to the point that we all kinda don't know what will happen if the club eventually fails to address the issues. Whether it's the parking lot or sound proofing etc if the club fails to fix the issues then they will suffer the consequences. So its not some sort of legal issue or anything yet otherwise the club would have been suspended from hosting events in the first place. So i think it would only come back to bite them later if now they are losing revenue due to having to fix those said issues then they would have to recalculate whatever income they had projected to account for the period of lost income that will be basically until they resolve the issues. Hardly a conspiracy or dramatic matter.

Real Madrid fans go to any extent to defend what happens at the circus called Real Madrid. It is evident that the acoustics of the bernabeu is poorly designed and that's why there is a public uproar and also why Real Madrid have cancelled the concerts and it will have an impact on the FairPlay and the sixth street deal. Now Kiyan can indeed choose to be on the wall about it but others don't have to. Diego is not able to articulate this, it is 50-50. As of now, the concerts are cancelled and that's a major issue and a flag.

@@bronxbull True. I think that's what Kiyan was getting at. He wasn't denying it. Moreso saying that there's a difference between doing something illegal versus badly planning something. And so as it stands, Madrid basically poorly planned and may suffer the consequences if they aren't able to find a solution by the end of the season. What that solution will be no one knows yet. That's why Kiyan kept saying that yes indeed the financials will be impacted if by the end of the season they haven't found alternatives to cover that lost revenue but if by the end of the season an alternative is found then all is well. So basically it only becomes a problem if the various deadlines come and no solution is found. Whereas Diego was saying the same thing but then framing it as if it was done and dusted.

@@TheOnlyTaps as of now, there is no solution and until there is a solution, the message is that there is no solution. It is not easy to fix the acoustics easily, it is a design issue and probably a planning error. It raises questions about FairPlay and La Liga and UEFA have to get in and ask questions. Barca ll denounce this in January

@@bronxbull Oh yeah no doubt but that's why they have until the end of the season to find a solution when the books close. Hence the concerts have been stopped until further notice as they probably try brainstorm solutions to find a workaround to resume them by the turn of the year. It's like when Barça sold a part of Barça studios and the buyers defaulted, they had time to find alternative buyers and eventually meet the deadline. So Madrid similarly won't be under any actual fire until the deadlines are met and no solution is found. Coz that's when the books are due. So if no solution is found that's when the authorities will step in

@@bronxbull Yeah once the deadline actually passes and no solution is found then the authorities will rightly step in. That goes back to what Kiyan was saying, there's a difference between doing something illegal that gets taken straight to the courts versus doing something that still has a timeline on it. That applies for every club across the planet in every league. Whether you are a big club or small club etc. Can even use the recent example of Juve cooking their books during covid and the issue got taken to court and resolved in court and eventually theur entire board resigned and they were handed theur punishment which was fines and a piints deduction. They only got prosecuted once it became a legal matter. All this other talk of ifs buts and maybes and media discussions are irrelevant because what matters is what the authorities can and cannot prosecute. It's like if I lend you money and you are supposed to pay me back by January 2025, and then I find out that you don't have the money yet, I'm obviously not going to bother you until January 2025 comes around. So if you end up somehow finding a way to raise the money before January 2025 you not having the money between now and then won't matter because you would have still paid me by January 2025. So I would only take you to court if by January 2025 you didn't come up with the money. So again, it's not a case of defending anything or turning a blind eye to anything, it simply only becomes an issue if it comes time for the books to close and no solution is found then Madrid's feet will rightly be held to the fire.
