Kizza Besigye arrested after altercation with police officers at his Kisangati home

Former FDC presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye lost his cool and physically engaged police officers deployed at his residence in Kasangati, Wakiso district after they blocked his visitors from accessing the home.
The visitors included Kampala road Mayor Erias Lukwago and Kawempe South MP Mubarak Munyagwa who were paying a courtesy call on Besiege who recently returned from a trip abroad.
In the confrontation, Besigye was arrested and driven to Naggalama Police Station in Mukono district.
Meanwhile, police also arrested other Kampala politicians in the city centre in regard to the directive banning street vending.

The police officers has no legal duties of detaining the citizens in their homes, will never happen in south Sudan 🇸🇸 otherwise it might conflict between the citizens and the police officers, my advise to the police is that, they should stop being corrupted and know their roles.

The police need to know their roles to play rather than performing elegally duties, we have the police act. And the police is only to keep law and order where people live, it's uncertain to detain the citizens in their homes. If police officers are corrupt whoever will implement to fight against corruption?
