Unhinged mental illness going unchecked because of influence and entitlement. Doesn't seem to me like he has anyone in his life to keep him grounded and accountable, I mean even when he was brainwashing minors, he was still being defended and rewarded for horrible behavior. He's a talented actor, but his horrible personality overshadows that.

Oh yeah, this guy... forgot about him after all the controversies hit the fan. Sorry he ruined the experience for you (and his costar). Hopefully justice is served, and he gets the mental help that he clearly needs.

He had so much promise as a young actor and went off the rails. It is giving “I need to find a way to be a victim despite having all the opportunity in the world.” He has unfortunately lost his sanity trying to get attention.

Hollywood is so gross. It was glamorous in the golden age. The days of Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant when starts really were STARS and knew how to behave with the press. The ungrateful brats of today are an embarrassment. Everyone is famous these days. It doesn't mean anything anymore and everyone is replaceable so they all best behave now

This statement is profoundly ignorant. Stars, especially women, were drugged up to their gills by STUDIO heads. They were in predatory contracts. Sexual abuse and assault was rampant. So many dapper male stars were homosexual and closeted. And women had to retire the moment they got pregnant. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Sounds like he was having some existential crisis. I hope and pray he gets some help and that he is doing better now. Very well handled on your part. I probably would have cut the interview short or maybe focused on claudia for the final 3 minutes.

Notice how defensive he got about the crystal question? Miss thing is on crystal METH. Trust me, I know from experience from his rambling to his ego-tripping and I think I counted him blinking TWICE in the entire interview. You handled this like a champ, can't say I would have had the same amount of patience!

Hello Kjerski! I was just thinking about Ezra the other day, as his life has been quiet since The Flash came out in 2023. Hopefully he gets the help he needs and gets his life together. That's one wild interview you had with him. Lol. Thanks for sharing your experiences as a journalist and interviewer with us. Love your vids!

He seemed like a guy who compensates for his own insecurities with random and excessive chatter. With the occasional put down. The put downs only work on people with no self esteem and are meant to make you seek out his approval. It's kind of like a sassy middle schooler who just became self-aware yesterday.
@NessG33 сағат бұрын
I agree. It took way too long for anyone to do something about him. When it was announced he would be the lead in The Flash (movie), I was shocked. They should've never given that role to him and/or should've shelved the movie. When I heard they pushed back the release date, I was like mmhm karma for hiring him, you guys. Thank you for sharing this interview (and others)! Not many would show interviews like this.

He loves to hear himself speak. Thinks he is philosophical. Classic insecure behavior. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s aggressive and abusive in relationships.

Complex issue- the fact that he consequently went to rehab explains a lot- the dude is pretty wired in this interview. Think of that poor sweet co-star who was stuck with him for the whole press tour ! I honestly feel that the studio system will use notoriety & bad, unhinged behaviour as currency equal to (or greater than) that of polite professionalism. It can be treacherous for a young, rising talent when everything starts to be “yes”… and no one with influence is there to say “maybe not”.

Looking at this interview footage and not anything else, was his behaviour so bad? Rather than rude wasn't he just trying to be entertaining in a kooky way? Aren't entertainers supposed to be a bit odd? His behaviour struck me as a bit of a low energy Robin Williams thing. There is clearly something odd going on but why judge so harshly?
