I really love that movie, but that's probably because a) I like films where the plot is just a character getting themselves into increasingly worse situations, and b) I can relate to accidentally getting way too high and having to not look like a complete dumbass in social situations.

Oh OLDBOY. How can my favourite film of ALL TIME be JUST GOOD? JK. Look, I appreciate the criticisms here. I can see how the start can be seen as a little too fast and overwhelming, that's where the editing comes into play. I think it does slow down to a more deliberate pace once the investigation starts. It was such a formative film for me; the first international film I ever saw, let alone Korean, and is one of if not the sole reason I want to get into the industry. I try to watch it once every year and I will love it for as long as I live.
