A BIG APPLAUSE TO ALL THE TEAM INVOLVED IN MAKING THIS ❤️ I TOTALLY LOVE IT (actually a big fan from the first few series/season of Klahan9) I am just gonna leave some comments after viewing the whole episode. To me, (and I believe we can say in general that) media plays a huge part in shaping my mindset and social behavior. Having male casts to volunteer for a class president position, might have a misinterpretation for kids (or maybe adults also) that class president should be male (always). If one of the 2 competitors was female, not only it’d show gender equality but it’d also exhibit to girls that class presidents can be someone just like them. One more thing about the role of the mom and dad. It’s common that heads of the village are men, but it’s not limited to that gender only. It’d be much better if the mom is actually the head of the village (cuz why not?). Not moving on from the same topic yet, while the dad is the head of the village, the mom shows that female should be stuck at home and do all the house chores (I know she participates in an associate with other villagers, but house chores shouldn’t be her pressure and the only thing she’s stressed about). We might say, it’s more relatable to mass audience since all of the above-mentioned elements are very common in Cambodian society (especially the rural areas). But as I mentioned from the very top, media has set my mindset and social behavior since kids, and I believe small details like I mentioned, could potentially shape mindsets of the new generations (into a gender-assumption kind of vibe, idk the word but you got what I mean xD)
