EDC light for me is still Olight S1 or S10. Fits better in the pocket. i don't clip knives or lights to my pocket - get scrapes just going for my keys.

Hi another great review....wanted to ask if this would be sufficient as a home security/self defence light in comparison to the xt11s. Ie would higher lumens when used indoors bounce on walls and affect user sight? Thanks.

I didn't quite get that. If your EDC is not charged that would be bad, yet if there is an emergency and you Need your gethome back it doesn't matter if the light is charged? Pretty sure that's not what you meant or?

My EDC light gets charged when its low meaning it's always charged.

Ben - your Intro says we can find out if this is replacing the D25C as your EDC, and now it appears, after watching the whole video... "maybe!" Did I miss something? I bought the Klarus, I like it (though I wish it went low-to-high instead of high-to-low) for the mode changes. And I've never carried the Eag(le)tac D25C...!

yeah, I figured... I have a few I go between for no good reason at all! I may have to order the Eagtac b/c of you... we'll see if I can settle between them! This Klarus is bothering me a little because of the fit of the clip and, as I said, more because it goes high-low in the level transitions. But I do love the dual-switch on the tail, and the outdoor vs tactical mode settings.

Living Survival I use the XT2C more just due to the more limited time of a 123. But this is my favorite 123 light ever.
