I recieved the xt1a week or so ago and all i can say is its hard to beat for a in house tactical edc light. It is with me all the time now. Its perfect for home defense. If you ear a thump at 3am and your eyes are adjusted to total darkness its very bright in the house, not to much but i wouldnt want anymore lumens for house duty or it would be blinding. Just got in the upgraded xt11 and all i can say is if its for in home defense you better keep a welding helmet beside your bed because it will

I bought the XT10, for myself, for Christmas. Outstanding light! If there is one hit on it, it is the size. Not too bad, though. Although the XT1C is only around half the lumens, it looks plenty bright enough, and it would be perfect for my EDC. My current EDC light is a Streamlight Pro-Tac 2L. It is such a good light that, after losing my first one, I went out the next day and bought another one. I felt almost forlorn to have lost it. From the looks of it, the XT1C might share time!

i am very interested in trying out the klarus lights, but they (like most cool things) are hard to get here in .ca so i will probably stick with 4Sevens (or foursevens now?) and sunway.

Marshall, Love the detailed reviews... question need a lightweight weaponlihgt, considering the XT1c and Quark Turbo 123 (QBL- gonna get a single cell body) Can you comment on the throw of the XT1C in relaiton to the new turbos?

Marshall, you do great reviews. I love the interface on the Klarus lights. I have the XT1C on my belt and the XT11 and XT2C as nightstand lights. I recently purchased a FOURSEVENS Preon 2 P2 Gen 2 that I'm trying out but I think I've been spoiled by Klarus. Love your website, the only problem is that you take way too much of my money. Awesome stuff though. Congrats on the new store!!!

Does the XT-1C come with any kind of pocket clip? It lists it as having a clip on the website, but does not show a picture of it.

Do these lights (or all the XT series) have the dual battery contact springs like the xt11 to keep the battery stable during recoil?

Well, actually ended up order the XT2C which has the same lumens as the XT10, but in a smaller light. Had it shipped to my work address so that the wife does not clue into the fact that I have bought yet another weapon of mass destruction (any gun, light, or knife that I add to my collection).

Does this mean that the 245 lumen XT1C will give better 'blinding' light than the 470 lumen XT2C? I'm a new police officer looking at buying my first flashlight and I need it to have a strong intense beam. I first thought of getting the Surefire Backup but I've been told its underpowered and overpriced. I also need it to be relatively small and concealable for plain clothes duty. What's your best recommendation? Thanks lots and congrats on the beautiful baby girl!
