Knicks couldn't get Steph. Knicks didn't draft Klay. Kerr turned down the Knicks job. The Knicks were a mess during that time.

What's crazy is that Klay is 100 3s from Reggie, and 500 from Ray...... Given he just shot 250+ 3s this year he's going to catch Ray in 2-3 years. Hope he does that in a warriors uniform.

Yea he will for sure pass reggie. We don’t know what the next 2-3 years will look like for klay though so I’m not sure if he’ll pass Ray. But I just want him to finish top 5 all time 3pt made.

At the time, Knicks were in the middle of their twenty five year obsession with pursuing declining guards in their early thirties. Klay was a decade too young.

Mark Jackson is a good coach on defense. But he had two of the greatest shooters to ever live plus a guy who was an All-star the prior year AND a guy who was an All-star the year before that, and he coached you to league average on offense. And you were last in passing the ball while Jackson is saying you are the best backcourt ever. If Jackson had been coaching an average NBA team, lacking the top shooters of all time, his team would have been bottom five on offense and winning thirty games a season, max. That is why teams are not hiring him. That, and they saw what the Warriors should have been under Jackson when Kerr came in and got you guys rings the next season.

I totally and respectfully DISAGREE. Name a young championship team that was their ages? They had to mature and that would have been the same if Kerr was coaching them. All respect to Mark and Kerr in my eyes.
